Why have an Alumni Association?

Alumni Association

Mickey Ask ’79-A

The Alumni Association exists to serve the alumni, and our future alumni—the students, and the School of Medicine of Loma Linda University while promoting excellence in world-wide health care. We do that in a variety of ways, including:

  • Providing opportunities for fellowship, scientific exchange, and continuing education among our alumni and affiliates
  • Promoting communication between our members and the School of Medicine, and giving our alumni a voice on campus
  • Supporting our medical students through programs like our lending library and mission assistance
  • Supporting our School in financial and other ways (since we began in 1932 we’ve raised more than $30 million for the School of Medicine)

Alumni Association
Executive Director

Nicole M. Batten, MA

We are committed to maintaining a mutually-beneficial relationship between the School of Medicine and the alumni community. We endeavor to foster loyalty and financial support for the School of Medicine while serving the needs of our members and representing their interests on campus and in the medical community. We are able to do all this through the support of our dues-paying members. If you haven’t joined yet, please consider becoming a dues-paying member of the Alumni Association today and experience the benefits of membership!
