Loma Linda University has graduated more than 11,000 physicians and is the only medical school in the western United States and one of the few in the nation to have reached this landmark. The Alumni Association of the School of Medicine of Loma Linda University has several ways for organizations and businesses to reach alumni physicians.


    Three issues are published each year in April, August, and December. The ALUMNI JOURNAL is also made available online.


    Each year the Alumni Association provides an ALUMNI DIRECTORY to facilitate communication between members of the Association. The DIRECTORY is sent to annual and perpetual (life) members of the Alumni Association.

  • Annual Postgraduate Convention

    An annual event that brings alumni of all ages back to Loma Linda University. Exhibit opportunities and event sponsorship available.


The ALUMNI JOURNAL is the primary publication of the Association, reaching over 8,000 medical alumni (including medical residents). Our alumni are influential in their hospitals and practices, their local communities, and their churches. They are leaders, instructors, administrators, parents, thinkers, and influencers.

In addition to printed copies, each issue is made available online. Three issues of the ALUMNI JOURNAL are published each year.

The ALUMNI DIRECTORY is published annually in October or November and distrubted to annual and perpetual (life) members of the Alumni Association. It contains contact information of medical alumni as well as information on Alumni Association history, past alumni awardees, current officers and committee members, and more. It is a valuable resource for alumni who are active members of the Alumni Association or who are interested in contacting classmates or fellow alumni.

Student And Resident Guide

Each year the Alumni Association provides a Survival Guide to Loma Linda to incoming freshman medical students and a Resident Survival Guide to Loma Linda for new LLUMC residents. The guides, which will be published in digital form, provide directory information about the campus, points of interest, and businesses in the area — a source of advertising for the local businesses.

In addition to the Guides, we offer another opportunity to advertise your business during the coming year. We host the Freshman Medical Student Welcome Picnic at which time there will be a drawing of gift certificates from local businesses. The drawing is always an exciting part of the picnic, and we would like to invite you to contribute a gift certificate or gift card for your business.

Annual Postgraduate Convention

The Alumni Association invites organizations to exhibit at the Annual Postgraduate Convention (APC). In 2022, the convention will be held March 3 to 7.

Exhibits take place on March 6 and 7 and are located alongside the research posters located on the 4th floor conference room of the Wong Kerlee International Conference Center. There are 32 booths available, ranging in price from $650 to $1,045. Please note that some organizations choose to reserve more than one booth.
