Robert Lynn Morrison ’58, 84, a longtime resident of San Marino, passed away after a brief illness on December 19, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in San Francisco to Donald and Esther Knight Morrison, he lived in the Bay Area until graduating from Pacific Union College. His pursuit of a medical profession led him to Southern California and Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he became a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 1957. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1958.
Robert specialized in the field of Pathology, and practiced at several San Gabriel Valley area hospitals including Santa Teresita Hospital, Community Hospital of San Gabriel, and Verdugo Hills Hospital, retiring from practice in 2001.
Following retirement, he enjoyed traveling to his favorite destinations of Yosemite, Palm Springs, and San Diego as well as spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Emma Mary Morrison (Campos); his son Glenn Scott Morrison and daughter Stacey Lynn Morrison; daughter-in-law Kristan Taylor Morrison, and grandchildren Lauren and Nolan Morrison and Mia Sims. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, and his youngest son, Mark Lee Morrison.
